What else can be said? Our second jamboree was a resounding success with over $ 2, 300.00 raised for the Ottawa Humane Society. The event was held on October 19, 2003 at the Montgomery Legion (Branch 351) in Ottawa. Thank you to the Legion President, Mr. Norm Kenney who donated the hall and made a cash donation.

We also want to extend special thanks to Terry Carisse, Neville Wells, Rick Thompson, Sherrill Ferguson, Gerald Ferguson, Tony True, Mac Berube, Terry McCann, and Barry & Aaron Stead. Their musical talents were well received and enjoyed by everyone.

In addition, thank you CJOH News, CFRA Radio, Country Y-105 Radio, The Ottawa Sun & The Ottawa CitizenĀ for helping to promote this event. Their help is always greatly appreciated.

And finally, thank you to all the people who attend this event. Without your participation this jamboree would not have done so well. BRAVO!

Everyone had such a great time and planning has already been started for our next jamboree, to be held April 25, 2004, again at the Montgomery Legion.

For your viewing pleasure we have provided some photos taken that day.

So again......thanks to everyone involved and we will see you in the spring!

Doug and Pam Champagne

On a sad note. we wish to extend our sincerest condolences to the friends and family of Mr. Pat Foley. Pat was instrumental in organizing this Jamboree and he will be missed dearly. Rest in peace Pat.
