2004 COUNTRY MUSIC JAMBOREE

COUNTRY MUSIC JAMBOREE SETS NEW RECORD!!

Over $3,500.00 was raised at Pam and Doug's third Country Music Jamboree on April 25^th at Montgomery Legion - simply outstanding!!!

This was one of their most incredible gatherings yet! Fans started lining up even BEFORE the doors opened.

No doubt it had something to do with Doug and Pam gathering an absolutely fantastic group of musical talent, including Hughie Scott, Rick King, Sherrill Ferguson, Gerald Ferguson, Edie Thomas, Gordie Ley, Neville Wells, Tony True, Gary Fairburn and Terry McCann, Carl Ceasar, Rodger Coulombe, Dale Ducharme and Louie Lacelle.

In between sets, Pam and Doug gave away fabulous door prizes and gift baskets. To list just a few of these incredible gifts - a DVD player, a colour television, rounds of golf at Loch March Golf and Country Club, and a humidifier. Pam's door prizes are always a huge crowd pleaser!

The evening was topped off with a special treat - Pam's Aunt created a video of animal pictures - many of them taken at the OHS. It showed animals in our adoption wards waiting to be placed into loving homes, volunteer dog-walkers taking the dogs out for a romp and heart warming scenes of newly adopted animals leaving with their new families. Truly a job well done!
