On this day, September 11, 2001

From glory to disaster. The day when a proud nation was viciously attacked by cowards. Cowards who took unsuspecting innocent people and "murdered" them.

Women, men and children....they didn't care, skin color didn't matter... not even religion mattered.

A day when countless "HEROES" ran into two burning towers of HELL to rescue whomever they could. Of course these heroes where the men and women of the New York City Police and Fire departments, and in some cases, people just like you and me.

On September 11, 2001 the lives of the entire world changed forever... lest we forget those who perished and our prayers to those who live on.

Hello everyone and welcome to the "LEGACY" Homepage

My name is Doug Champagne, and this is my wife Pam. We live in Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA, just hours away from New York City. As Canadians, we realize that our "back-yard" neighbor is that of our American friends. When tragedy struck on September 11, 2001, our hearts went out to all Americans, and to the world.

The events of September 11, 2001 left us both with an emptiness inside. Unable to fill the void left by the scars of that terrible day, we put down in music and words our feelings about 9/11 and thought that we would share them with YOU!  The one that has found this page. Perhaps you too are looking for words of solitude to help heal the pain of that dreadful day.

"THE LEGACY" is our tribute to those who needlessly perished and to those who survived and must live each day in anguish at the loss of a loved one following the events of that horrific day. We hope that you enjoy the song we have put together... from our hearts to yours.
