IT’S FINALLY HERE As a lot of you are aware, we wrote and recorded We are happy to announce that the CD is now on sale at the branches listed below for a cost $5.00. In addition, all proceeds from the sale of “THE LEGION SONG” remain in the branch to assist with branch activties. |
We had the opportunity to present the Prime Minister with a copy of “THE LEGION SONG” as you can see below. It was a true honour. We were told we would have approximately 15 – 25 seconds with the Prime Minister and it would be outside his office, but apparently he decided to change the plan and invited us into his office where we spent around 7 minutes with him. He asked us all kinds of questions about the song, about where we worked, lived and how “We Wear Red” was doing etc. It was a fantastic visit.
We were interviewed on CFRA at 7:10 a.m. the next day to promote this Legion fundraiser, for anyone who missed it, if you go to CFRA website click on interviews on the left hand side of the page go down to “THE LEGION SONG” and you can download the interview. Hopefully we can raise much needed funds for the branches.
